  Tribulus is an effective way to increase testosterone levels without having to subject the liver to the stress of conversion like andros. Andros are converted into testosterone by the liver, causing many potentially harmful side effects. Tribulus increases testoeterone levels through a completely different mechanism. When tribulus is taken on a regular basis, it signals the pituitary to release an increased level of lutenizing hormine (LH) in the body. Lutenizing hormone, in turn, instructs the testes (or ovaries in women) to produce more testosterone. Therefore, tribulus is able to increase serum testosterone levels naturally. In a study perfoemed by Milanov, et al, males who were administered 750 mg of tribulus each day showed an increase in lutenizing hormone by 72% and an increase of testosterone levels by an average of 41%.
