L-Tyrosine is an essential amino acid, which means your body cannot manufacture it.
L-Tyrosine must be obtained through the diet or by supplementation.
L-Tyrosine is a precursor of the neurotransmitters dopamine, norepinephrine, epinephrine (adrenaline), L-dopa, thyroid hormones, and enkephalins (special peptides which subdue messages of physical discomfort).
