Calcium Ascorbate

Ester-C is a patented form of vitamin C that is buffered with calcium. Ester-C's 'buffering' of the vitamin C with calcium makes Ester-C easier on the stomach, as it does not have such an acidic effect, and Ester-C enters the cells faster than regular vitamin C. Ester-C also contains many metabilotes of vitamin C, making Ester-C more effective and more absorbable by the body than regular vitamin C.
