CoQ10 is a fat soluble antioxidant which plays an important role in the body. Normally the body can produce CoQ10 on its own, but it can also be consumed in food and supplement form. Like vitamin E, CoQ10 is especially helpful for supporting cardiovascular health. CoQ10 is utilized by the body's cells during cellular respiration in a process known as aerobic metabolism.
